*This role is eligible for our 2022 Sign-on & Retention Bonus $1,500 ($500 upon 3 months and $1,000 on your 12 month anniversary).

The Role
Podium Restaurant is situated within Sudima Queenstown Five Mile and offers a flavorful dining experience and is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal or relax with a drink, which can be enjoyed in the outdoor mezzanine with mountain views. Alongside Podium Restaurant are our four conference facilities, catering to up to 150 people.
We are seeking talented Food & Beverage and Bar attendants to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and ideally have experience in leading restaurants, bars or customer facing roles. However full training will be provided for the right candidate.
So whether you are a seasoned professional in the foody scene, or a newcomer to hospitality, we are keen to talk with you!
Requirements
About You | Ko Koe Tēnei
- Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail
- Prepare all beverages to order
- Have a passion for creating extraordinary cocktails
- Develop and test new drinks and refine current ones
- Ensure bar prep for a successful evening drinks service
- Have a desire to learn and grow your hospitality career
- Preferred at least 1 years service experience in restaurant & bar service or customer facing role
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required. (which may include early morning starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays)
- Relevant Hospitality qualification desirable but not essential
