Task & Responsibilities

  • Full room cleaning, including bathroom, balcony, closet, and bath tubs.
  • Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
  • Checks and secures the rooms.
  • Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, deep cleaning etc.) as required
  • Cleans public area including but not limited to bathroom/lobby/floor corridor/conference area/offices/and staff areas.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Washes, cleans and hang curtains or blinds. Spot clean walls, skirtings, light switches and fittings, ceilings, stairways, and windows.
  • Collects and returns bedclothes, sheets, blankets, towels, face cloths and duvets for laundering. Turn mattresses and changes fresh linens and towels where required.
  • Receive, organises, and store clean linen in designated linen storage area.
  • Responsible for replenishment of in room amenities. 
  • Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
  • Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet.
  • Keep up to date and adheres to the best Health and Safety practices. 
  • Reporting any real or potential hazards, accidents, or incidents.

  • A passion for contributing to and enhancing guest experiences
  • To be successful you will need a minimum of six months previous experience working in housekeeping
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Well-presented, organised and calm personality
  • Dedication and commitment to hospitality, leadership and team work
  • Fluent English essential, additional languages an advantage
