Job Description

We need an experienced and enthusiastic hospitality professional to join our Bistro Winery leadership team.  

Your role will be to support our Bistro Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver exceptional guest experience. We need someone who can maintain high standards and take care of our staff along the way. This is the perfect next step for someone to move away from evenings and further their career into the fascinating world of wine.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Leading the team on the floor to deliver a world class guest experience at all times
  • Maintaining a positive team culture, including the Kinross values of respect, passion, communication and support
  • Supervise the operations of the venue during your shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Assist with the training and development of team members.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage stock levels, handle cash-ups, and assist with administrative duties.
  • Ensure the venue’s appearance and cleanliness are maintained to the highest standards.

About You

  • Min 3 Years experience in FoH, Barista, Service and Wine
  • Min 1 years people management experience
  • Positive and professional manner, honest and reliable
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Be highly organised and work well under pressure
  • Current Manager’s Certificate in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 – or be eligible to apply for this
  • A passion for wine and food is essential, and wine experience or WSET qualifications a distinct advantage.

This is a full time (min 30 hours, max around 45 hours) position, weekends essential.  Our Bistro is closed in the evenings except for some specific tour group bookings or events.
