We have a packed schedule ahead with a diverse range of projects, and are searching for labourers who are keen to work hard, solve challenges and raise the industry bar safely and efficiently. If you can operate machinery — loaders, diggers, skid steers, or even small plant — that’s a real advantage and you’ll use those skills to speed up site prep, trenching, and material handling. It’s a varied, physical role where you’re building, shaping, and improving sites, with no two days looking the same.

Here is an idea of what your days would look like:
Your Day-to-Day - Drainage Labourer
Play a key role in keeping our projects running smoothly. You’ll be involved in everything from site prep and digging to supporting operators, placing materials, and helping with concrete, drainage, and general site works. No two days look the same — you’ll learn on the job, work alongside experienced crew members, and build the foundation skills needed to grow your career in civil construction.

Your Day-to-Day - General Labourer:
A General Labourer in our General Contracting team spends their days shaping outdoor spaces and delivering small residential projects from the ground up. The work ranges from building retaining walls and hardscaping features, to hands-on landscaping tasks like levelling and site clean-ups. You’ll help with general roading, drainage and civil works in diverse tasks that will challenge and develop your skills.

What You'll Need
To hit the ground running, you'll generally need:

• Experience in the construction industry or something similar
• A current, clean Class 2 Licence or committed to obtaining within first 3 months
• Experience with excavators, loaders, and compaction equipment is an advantage
• A flexible & adaptable approach with a strong work ethic
• Efficient and forward thinking
• A safety-first mindset
• Be a NZ Citizen, Resident or hold a current NZ Work Visa

Nice-to-haves (but not essential):

• Holding a WTR endorsement
• Class 4 Licence
• Experience operating other machinery
