Get along to the Central Lakes Jobs Fair, Thurs 26th November, at the Memorial Centre.
Many local businesses are reporting staff shortages leading into the busy summer season. To help match job-seekers to employers directly, Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) will be hosting a Jobs Fair in Queenstown. This will be similar to the recent ‘Jobbortunities’ event, but with a larger concentration of local employers and jobs within commutable distance from Queenstown. Employers from hospitality, accommodation, tourism and construction will be attending
The event will take place on Thursday 26 November from 9:00 am to 3.00 pm at the Queenstown Memorial Centre. It’s free and all are welcome.
Immigration NZ and Licensed Immigration Advisors will also attend to be on hand to help with any Visa queries.
If you are an employer with vacancies, please register to attend by completing this registration form.
Those interested in attending the job fair are also encouraged to take part in a FREE Zoom webinar being hosted by Melissa Jenner, Founder of START Now a leading career planning organisation in NZ. In this short & interactive Webinar, Melissa will share from her 25 years of experience in hiring teams and helping people pivot careers, some tips and tricks for making applying for – and getting – a new job easier.
This webinar will be held on Wednesday 18 November from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm, and will include guest speakers, downloadable tools and Q&A sessions throughout for those in attendance to ask questions.
