Ground Crew Position

Skytrek is looking for a fun loving individual who knows how to provide outstanding customer service, has great driving skills and enjoys working outside in the mountains with customers from all nationalities.

The company provides tandem paragliding and tandem hang gliding flights from Coronet Peak,  Queenstown. We are looking for a motivated individual to work with us for the remainder of the season up to end of April.

Tasks include:

• Transport customers from Queenstown to Coronet Peak and return using one of our courtesy shuttle vans.
  
  
• Help maintain our fleet of five Toyota HiAce vans by refuelling and cleaning as well as getting them to service.
  
  
• Help launch tandem passengers from the scheduled launch site in a safe and professional manner.
  
  
• Act at all times to enhance the reputation and standing of Skytrek.
  
  
• Assist with loading equipment such as hang gliders and paragliders.
  
  
• Arrive for work on time and in a fit state to carry out a full day's work.
  
  
• Be friendly, confident and helpful to all Skytrek clients.
  
  

Applicants will need the following:

• Have the right to work in New Zealand.
  
  
• Have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of English
  
  
• Have a clean New Zealand driver's license or overseas equivalent with excellent driving skills
  
  
• Have a valid 1st Aid Certificate or willing to attend a course.
  
  
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
