Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant / Housekeeper to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual with a housekeeping background to work across all of our properties. The role will be split between the hotel and our short-term rentals. 

Contracts available for a minimum of 8h to 30 hours per week.

The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Previous experience working in housekeeping in a luxury property environment 
  • High attention to detail, motivation and energy levels
  • A high level of organisation and communication skills, and great attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently & within an established team
  • Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • A pride in their personal grooming

Duties will include:

  • Housekeeping rooms and common areas daily
  • Turndown services
  • In-house laundry 
  • Assisting hosting services
  • Servicing of short-term rental properties
  • Minimum 6 months commitment

Applicants must have a good command of English and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current and open work visa with at least 12 months until expiry. Full drivers license is advantageous.
