LODGE CHEF

We are seeking a passionate chef who takes pride in creating, cooking, and interacting with our well-travelled clientele.Our luxury boutique lodge of 8 rooms is truly special, featuring a brand-new design kitchen in stunning heritage settings. 

We offer competitive rates, staff meals,  and a positive and supportive work environment - a place where our team feel valued and cared for.

Staff house is also available, just a minute's walk from the town and the lodge.

The successful candidate for this position should possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience - min 2 years
• Attention to detail, motivation and high energy levels
• Be organised and foster positive communication 
• The ability to work independently & within a team
• Flexibility to work mornings, including weekends and public holidays
• A pride in their personal grooming to work in our open kitchen

Duties will include:

• Creating breakfast & canapes dishes
• Preparing and cooking for breakfast service
• Ordering and stocktake 
• Assisting hosting services, as required

Applicants must have a good command of English and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current and open work visa with at least 12 months until expiry. A full driver's license is advantageous.
