Caravan Park and Camping Ground Manager

We are seeking a candidate to manage a fantastic Rotorua Holiday Park. You will be an experienced Camping Ground Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations of one of our premier holiday parks located in the picturesque Central Bay of Plenty region. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the holiday park to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests.

Requirements

• Valid work visa
• 2 years or more of relevant work experience or a NZQCF Level 4 or Bachelors degree

Role Responsibilities

• Relevant experience in holiday park, caravan park, camping ground, accommodation, hospitality or tourism management;
• Experience managing day-to-day accommodation/holiday park operations;
• Experience supervising and managing staff, including rostering, training and performance management;
• Experience with guest services, reservations/bookings, reception and check-in/check-out;
• Experience handling customer enquiries and complaints;
• Experience with financial administration, cash handling, daily reconciliation and budgeting;
• Experience with stock control, purchasing and general administration;
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to manage operational, health and safety and relevant compliance requirements.
